But if you had already given up and thought the game was lost you'd have deranked anyway and lost more of your time so sadly a lot of people leave if everything doesn't go their way. In DBD quitting the game prematurely has very little consequence, you can't queue up for a minute or two and you derank. Sure, people give up quickly in League too but they'll usually stick around for 15 minutes at least to attempt an early surrender vote and by that time you might have started to turn the game around and made them change their mind. Compared to a game like League of Legends, notorious for its playerbase, DBD has been far worse to me in that regard. Sometimes I get a streak with friendly players who try their best but then the next game I'll have two people give up immediately because they don't like the killer we're against. I have an average of 0.5DCs per game that's one person rage quitting every other game. In a team game that requires people to work together towards a common goal having one person give up makes it extremely difficult, having two or more makes it near impossible. Dead by Daylight has a huge problem with people ragequitting or intentionally killing themselves. People have some issues with the balancing but that's always the case for competitive games like this, the bigger issue is the mentality a lot of people have. Playing solo however, or even with a party of 2 or 3 tends to be very painful.

If you have a full party of friends you'll most likely have a good time. Seeing villains like the Spirit and Trapper slapping on swimwear and living their best lives is a fun concept, and it's clear that the creators of this dating game, Psyop and Behaviour Interactive, are having a blast.A great game, plagued with one of the worst communities I have ever seen.ĭead by Daylight is a 4v1 asymmetrical horror game balanced around 4 people working together to escape from a killer. As the player, you're routinely presented with the hilarious concept that this dating game is actually canon to what is currently taking place in the never-ending cycle of violence that the Entity has created in the asymmetrical horror game. Let's start with the positives: Hooked on You is a real reward for those who have been following along with Dead by Daylight throughout the years, especially when it comes to the lore of things like its Killers, Survivors, and the Entity. Unfortunately, for a game where the player controls a faceless protagonist who is mostly relegated to choosing text bubbles, Hooked on You lives or dies on the wit and charm that it is able to convey which is ultimately a mixed bag here. In recreating a dating simulator, Hooked on You finds success in managing to weave an intricate story that pokes fun at itself, the Killers involved in the normal hunts, as well as the strange scenario that players find themselves in. Instead of fleeing from the villains whose goal is to place their victims on hooks for a faceless evil spirit known as the Entity, you find yourself suffering a case of amnesia while potentially kindling a relationship with one of the terrors of the game. To start, Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim is a very different game, obviously, from its initial source material in Dead by Daylight.
